Vintage Street Prep is an ode to my mother. An artist and fashionista, she was an assistant buyer at the Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC before giving up her career to raise a family. Her sense of style never retired. Growing up, I was her muse and became her shopping partner-in-crime. She taught me the gift of thrifting, art of textures, and the idea of mixing high and low to create my own unique look. I learned it’s not about going with trends but with finding what speaks to you; that the confidence in oneself and one’s look is what makes others want to emulate the look. And, if others don’t want to replicate the style, that’s okay because you like what you’re wearing and that’s more than enough.

Through our years thrifting together or hunting for sales at Bergdorf’s, I developed “the eye.” I can spot great fabrics and timeless pieces like a hawk. It’s become a pastime and a passion.

Vintage Street Prep brings you these treasures. We hunt so you don’t have to. Our inventory is a trove of treasures from my closet, my mom’s, and sourced goods.

We try and be as sustainable as possible, but we want you to know it’s okay to buy new if the item is so good it could become vintage.

We are more than a store. We are a lifestyle; a reminder to love what you do and find magic in every corner. We hope you love these items as much as we do. We hope they give you confidence and joy. We hope you're able to give them the second life they deserve. Just because someone else may have slept on this item doesn't mean it's not magnificent. Remember you, too, are spectacular.
